NASSIM PARK APARTMENT
This four-bedroom apartment in Singapore was reworked as a considered and contemporary home, building on the strong architectural foundation originally designed by Christian Liaigre.
Following a period as a rental property, the interiors required a shift from a neutral, transitional state to something more personal and defined. Rather than altering the architecture, the focus was on refining the furnishing scheme, spatial flow and material palette.
A new layout introduces clarity and balance, allowing each piece to sit with intention. Sculptural furniture forms and curated objects are set against a backdrop of rich timber, dark lacquer and soft neutrals, creating a composed interplay of weight, texture and tone.
The client’s art collection plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere of the space. Bold, expressive works are given prominence, bringing contrast, personality and a sense of individuality to the otherwise restrained interiors. Each piece is carefully positioned to anchor key views and add moments of visual interest throughout.
