HIGHBURY PIED-A-TERRE (2024)

This one bedroom apartment was designed as a calm and characterful retreat, with a focus on reworking existing pieces rather than introducing entirely new ones.

Having been rented out for several years, the space lacked warmth and identity. The design approach centred on bringing it back to life through colour, texture and thoughtful layering, creating a home that feels both personal and considered.

The scheme is anchored by a large octagonal ottoman, upholstered in a fabric chosen by the client. Acting as both coffee table and focal point, it sets the tone for the room, with its colours echoed across surrounding furniture, textiles and accessories.

A mix of vintage pieces and reupholstered finds introduces depth and individuality, while soft neutrals are layered with muted blues and warmer tones to create a balanced, cohesive palette.
